Vortex IPA is named in reverence to the tornado that nearly scattered our Sweet Virginia brew system (the original pub system) among the cornfields of Nebraska, while en route from Virginia Beach to Astoria. To this day, Sweet Virginia remains a workhorse in the public house and we continue brewing Vortex IPA as our flagship beer.

Brewed using 6 different NW varieties of hops at over 2.5 pounds per barrel, RPM IPA focuses on extreme hoppiness rather than bitterness. It’s golden to copper in color with a complex malt profile that will not overshadow the hops. Our flagship, RPM IPA, will satisfy any opinionated hop forward IPA consumer.

Headlining Adam Tiller

Adam Tiller is a stand-up comedian and podcast host located in Everett, WA. He performs regularly at Laughs Comedy Club, Tacoma Comedy Club, Nate Jackson's Super Funny Comedy Club, and Club Comedy. He was a Participant in the "World Series of Comedy" Festival and a semifinalist in Nate Jackson's "Funniest MF" Competition. He has also opened for the following Headliners: Sam Morril, Doug Stanhope, Kyle Kinane, Joe List, Jon Dore, Erica Rhodes, Dusty Slay, Alonzo Bodden, Zolta Kaszas, Caitlin Peluffo, and Jackie Kashian.

Amanda Arnold has a brilliant, fast-paced and commonsensical style that brings an audience together. Opening for Dave Attell and Jeff Ross on The Bumping Mics tour in 2018, named “Top 5 Funniest Comics” in Portland by the Willamette Week, Performing in festivals such as All Jane, Idaho Laugh Fest, Bridgetown and Big Sky and was also featured on "Laughs" on Fox. Amanda produced a comedy festival; the Undertow Comedy Festival in Lincoln City, Oregon April 2018. Featured in "Unexpected Journeys" filmed in Singapore in 2019. She did stand-up comedy for the first time when she was eight years old! It's no wonder you get a feeling when watching her that some people are just born funny.

Headlining Jeremiah Coughlan

Jeremiah Coughlan is a comedian who physically resembles what would happen if Chris Farley ate Bob Ross while his stage presence embodies some of the traits of those two. Coughlan is an imperfect mix of chaos and control. In what can seem paradoxical, Jeremiah carries a calm, and contented demeanor into his high energy and surprisingly athletic performances. Although he still hasn’t figured out how to complete a painting in 30-minutes.

With his candid, conversational brand of self-deprecating humor, Jeremiah has become a regular performer at Clubs all over the Northwest. In 2016 he performed as part of the Hudson Valley Comedy Festival in New York, and in 2017 he was invited to perform in The Idaho Laugh Festival in Boise, ID, The SF Sketchfest in San Francisco, CA, and the Crom Comedy Festival in Toronto, Ontario.

He has been invited to perform as part of AA and NA conventions and fund raisers all over the country. He is very grateful for his recently achieved 6 years of sobriety, and would be a great addition to any recovery based comedy program.

Headlining Susan Rice

Rice's career began on March 16th 1983 at a small bar called the Leakey Roof Tavern in Portland OR. By June of the same year, Rice was able to work almost every night of the month due to the comedy boom that had finally found the PNW,

 Moving to Los Angeles in 1986 gave Susan her first taste of what show biz had in store for her. She rapidly became a regular at the Icehouse in Pasadena, Igby's, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Stop's and worked for the Improvs. She rapidly moved up the performance ladder and headlined at many of the clubs of the 1990s; Laff Stops, Last Laughs, Stanfords, and the Comedy Connections.

He is a regular feature at Helium comedy club, where he has opened for the late Norm Macdonald, Mark Normand, and Kyle Kinane, amongst others. His debut album “The Crowd Work Album” is available now on Helium Comedy Records. Jake recently finished shooting a forthcoming documentary about the return of comedy after Covid on a nationwide tour.

It’s Time Again for Furniture Share’s Taps & Caps Fundraiser!

Furniture Share cordially invites you to join us, Saturday March 5, 2022  from 4 pm – 8 pm, for a night on the town at the 4th Annual Albany Taps & Caps presented by The Growler Garage & Tap House, No Rails Ale House, Deluxe Brewing, Calapooia Brewing Company, and Albany Downtown Association. 

This event is a fundraiser to benefit Furniture Share Programs helping Beds for Kids, Veteran Welcome Home Kits for prior homeless veterans, and our Wildfire Furniture Relief Program! Each program serves your local neighbors in need and provides a vital service no other organizations in the Willamette Valley Support!

TICKETS: $25 - 4-tasting tickets (1 for each stop on the tour), appetizers/snacks and Raffle tickets for the giveaways at each stop. The first 65 tickets sold receive a free glass growler! Starting Monday, February 28th you may pick up your ticket packet & growler in advance at the Albany Downtown Association (M-F 9-5) then start your night at any participating tap house. THE HILLTOP SAINTS:
Coming from a variety of musical backgrounds, The Hilltop Saints, is a modern country/americana band that brings energy and excitement to its listeners and the stage. Deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest, the groups songs range from the most recognizable classic country anthems, to covers of today’s hottest outlaw country and americana singles. In addition, the group has compiled a catalog of original material directly inspired by generations of country and rock artists we all love.  With multiple vocalists, the on-stage chemistry of The Hilltop Saints is guaranteed to get the audience on their feet and singing along.

MELODY JORDAN REESE:
Melody was born in Fresno, CA and lived in Clovis, CA until she was 12. Her family relocated to the central coast of California to a small town called Orcutt where she graduated from high school in 2008. In high school, Melody was part of the women's choir, Varsity choir, and Madrigals a capella choir. Her father is a talented songwriter and musician, with a specialty in pedal steel. Melody grew up attending his performances, and even performed with her dad at various events. 

Melody has performed on the famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA at venues such as the Whisky a go-go, The Rainbow Room, and the Viper Room. She performed as a studio vocalist alongside songwriters and producers who wrote for and toured with Bret Michaels and other 80's rock favorites.

Headlining Sam Miller

Sam Miller is a comedian from Olympia Washington. He is 6 foot 6, 360 pounds, has 2 kids, (one of them is on purpose) he's been married for 10 years, and has been clean and sober for 13 years. Sam likes to make jokes about what it's like to be a sober parent. He also likes to make jokes about what jails like in Yakima. Sam was a finalist in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. He's also performed with the addicts comedy tour and at NA and AA conventions all over the northwest. For 3 consecutive years he won awards in "The Best of Olympia" issue of the Weekly Volcano.
